13 Sep 21 | The NANOSTEM parallel session with the ESB2021 The NANOSTEM Program has delivered an International Conference as one of the parallel sessions of the 31st Annual Conference of the European Society for Biomaterials (ESB 2021), 5th – 9th September 2021. 7 Sep 21 | 3MT finals - Our Alena Vdovchenko is one of the six finalists! We are very happy to announce that Alena Vdovchenko, our ESR based at QMUL, is one of the six Vitae 3MT finalists! The Three Minutes Thesis, or 3MT, is a worldwide competition open to PhD students during which they are challenged to present their research in only 3 minutes. The presentations should be engaging and easy to understand by a layperson. Alena has shown to have developed excellent communication skills going through a number of selections and landing at the finals! ... | |

12 Jul 21 | The 3rd Summer School and International Meeting We just finished the 3rd Summer School and International meeting, and it could have not gone any better! Unfortunately, also this event had to be carried out online due to the travel limitations across Europe, restrictions, quarantine and COVID-19 testing. Nevertheless, we organised a very interactive School with a number of workshops in CV writing, interview skills, and career prospects. 11 Feb 21 | The 5th issue of NANOSTEM Newsletter is now out! In this issue, our ESRs will tell us what has been happening in their lives in the last 6 months. Amid new restrictions, travel bans, home-working etc, our fellows are still bursting with joy and positivity! They are happy to be able to go to their beloved labs and keep doing their experiments, although not as freely as they would like to.
